With members of Executive Board, Expert Council on the field of Sport for All, Expert Council on the field of Elite Sport and Slovenian Olympic Academy, OCS-ASF is responsible for the development of all forms of sport (grassroot sport, sport for all and elite sport) and also takes care for the development of Olympic movement, Olympic values and symbols as well as fair play in Slovenia.
OCS-ASF goal is, in cooperation with its members, to ensure the optimal conditions of operation and the development of Slovenian sports in all its forms: sports for all, sports on the local level and top-level sports.
The vision of the Sports Union Slovenia is to be the leading sports organisation in the field of sports recreation and its education in Slovenia, which will seek to approximate recreational sports and physical education for every individual.
The purpose of SUS is to unite clubs that act in the field of sports, sport and recreation and recreational educational activities, encourage their advanced professional training, strive for the progress of professional work and introduce new methodologies.
SUS belongs to the network of EFCS (European Federation for Company Sport), TAFISA (The Association For International Sport for All), ISCA (International Sport and Culture Association) and FARE (Football Against Racism Europe).
